fire temple prayer room
A recent recipient of a Design Excellence award from the American Institute of Architects, Potomac Valley, we brought order to an ill-defined area of the existing temple by introducing a procession of increasingly-sacrosanct spaces that invite one to leave the secular and prepare for a sacred experience. A simple palette of natural materials creates a serene ambiance.
